to have done the grand sum of bugger all today

not a thing! had a bath and sat on my backside. dd played on minecraft all day. dp having muscled in on the wooden dragon construction that dd started its not going well!! we are the official boring family.

I had a busy first hour (once I'd had a lovely lie in, then spent an hour reading in bed).

Dishwasher on, laundry on, kitchen cleaned, massive mincemeat tart made to go with the buffet style tea, recycling sorted.

Since then I've done very little all day apart from reading, mnetting, watching TV and watching the fish in the tank. :)

OP YANBU. I have actually done a lot compared to most Boxing Days. I went and got my new kitchen finalised (signed on the dotted line and paid the deposit!), walked into town and back, mostly for the exercise (it hasn't helped, I still feel like a Zeppelin) and then came back and watched old films. Oh I did hoover - my family visit between Xmas and NY and I need to start getting the pigsty house ready for their arrival. I'm exhausted.

After spending the morning getting toys out of boxes and finding places for them to live I have sat on my arse all afternoon, I should really run the hoover round and stick all the wrapping paper out in the bin but I can't really be bothered now.
