DS nearly15, dp is an adult, dp's DS is dp's responsibility. I have done all of xmas day for those that are here. I am not being unreasonable by signing myself off duty for the forseeaShock?

YANBU. But even before children were grown, what has DP being doing all this time?

Mum duties for Christmas Day = laying on sofa and drinking champagne/sloe gin/tea/coffee/Bailey's/wine (delete as appropriate).

Because you've got to give the rest of the family enough space to bond...

I have performed superbly today... Even done some cooking and talking to extended family on face time. 10 out of 10 I think... Grin
