i just went to the florist it does other bits to like little angels. in loving memory type of messages. when its my dads birthday/ anniversary of his death/xmas etc i always buy him something for his shelf/urn as i keep it at home. i asked do you have any trinklet xmas type things... she said no she does not know what a trinklet is... then i said do you have anything that maybe has christmas colours... she said no.... then i said ok do you have any ideas... she said no... all one word answers she did not even try and help. really pissed me of :( :( so aibu to think she could have at least tried to help or even if she could not at least used a bit of people skills

Grays it's ok he's used to it, he has this smile that looks like he's really happy to see someone and I know it's totally fake. On the rare occasions I'm out I sit and see him serving someone who's bugging him and I know because he looks so happy.

I've said to his mates, oh no, he's going to lose it in a minute and they go "what are you on about? He looks fine" then the next minute when they leave he gives me a completely exasperated look and everyone asks how I know haha.

The stupid thing is, he's more loud and annoying than anyone else I know when he's had a drink! And he knows it!

Ive been there myself, although in a different job role. You find yourself making a face that you'd never do in any other circumstance but it's quite fitting for the occasion.. Fake but quite obvious to those you know well!

yanbu I work in retail and you wouldn't believe the descriptions i get from customer and I genuinely have zero clue what they are asking for but I battle on and ask questions and try to be as helpful as I can.

she should have asked what you meant or what you would use it for.
