AIBU ask how to make life convenient?!

My mums come to visit.
Apparently I'm poisoning my kids because I use frozen chopped onions, frozen ginger, garlic and chillies.
They are convenient. But I only discovered them this week!
Any other tips to make my life easier?
(And really piss of mum)

Timetoask fgs the things the OP uses are hardly 'rubbish'. In fact they are likely to contain more nutrients than, say, the onion that's been kicking around for weeks since being harvested as they'll have been processed and frozen shortly after harvesting. She's not giving them microwaveable burgers and turkey twizzlers.

I wouldn't give my kids rubbish just to piss of my mum but some things are so handy!
She even considers the ready to steam veg evil! I should cut it and boil it to death!

I always have an open jar of lazy garlic too.

How are the frozen chopped onions? I always wonder if they'll be a bit watery?

But watery but took the lid of the pan and they dried out.
