Here's the iPlayer link for the first episode.

FrankelandFilly · 23/12/2014 20:33

It's already up on iplayer for radio, I've just checked Grin

FizzBuzzHaveABanana · 23/12/2014 20:40

I've followed it by an episode of 'Sherlock'.

It is a good day!

FrankelandFilly · 24/12/2014 18:26

Absolutely superb!

How I'll miss this.

HermioneWeasley · 24/12/2014 18:59

Applause! What a fantastic ending! (Though they should have had Herc as Douglas's captain)

ChillieJeanie · 24/12/2014 18:59

I can only channel Arthur at this point. That was brilliant.

FrankelandFilly · 24/12/2014 19:23

Nothing else to say, other than "Brilliant!" Xmas Grin

Sudename · 24/12/2014 19:27

Have to admit I shed a little tear at the end

PhaedraIsMyName · 24/12/2014 19:29

Me too ! It was brilliant.

Gruntfuttock · 24/12/2014 19:34

Isn't Roger Allam's (Douglas) voice and delivery fantastic? Grin

Roger Allam's voice is wonderful. I saw him as Prospero at The Globe , best Shakespeare production I've seen.

He did an afternoon poetry reading at The Globe earlier this month. I was very tempted to make a trip from Edinburgh.

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 24/12/2014 19:40

I posted this on the other CP thread. It's from John Finnemore's blog and it's made me a little bit sniffy.

Well, here it is… please take your seats, and prepare for landing. Very much hope you enjoy it, and that you approve of the ending. But, whether you do or not, thank you very, very much for all your comments, poems, jokes, support, drawings, praise and occasional fury over the past six years, and most of all…

Thank you for flying MJN Air.

Love,

The Airport.

It was perfect. Just perfect.

Loved the way Herc instantly "got" the game, the way the lemon came back into play - loved all of it.

Sad Smile

Loved it. What a fab way to spend Christmas eve.

Misseuropadiscodancer · 24/12/2014 20:28

It was brilliant Grin

I loved it. So sad that it's the last one. Goodbye MJN, or OJS as it's now known.

So pleased Carolyn made Douglas captain.

It's on iPlayer already, if you missed it - www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04vf959

Lymmmummy · 24/12/2014 21:11

YANBU - Love this programme and John Finnemores programme - thought was just me - husband hates radio 4 ! So glad to have found some kindred spirits

Gruntfuttock · 24/12/2014 21:16

Lymmmummy My husband hates Radio 4 too. It's most annoying when we're in the car, because he always has some awful music station on. I tell him that at 68 he should have graduated to Radio 4 by now.
