To want my own Christmas card?

I've not lived with my parents for years, I live with my partner and have done for around 2 1/2 years and alone before that.

We send out Christmas cards to the usual people, family, friends, family friends yet almost never recieve one back to us. I am always included on my parents cards, which I never even see!

I know people have a lot to write, it's not that they didn't send me one, it's that they still treat me like a child.... When comes the point where you stop writing "parent, parent, grown up children" on cards?

First world problem, I know...

MN is seriously Christmas card obsessed?

It's madness!

It takes some people time Grin
I've lived with DH for 15 years and still get included in a couple of my parents cards!
Ask your parents to pass on your address to them with a comment about them assuming the givers don't know where you live. Or write your address on the back of the card you give them.

Separate address, separate card here.

Though I'm still included on cards from some of my parents' old friends - they don't know me individually, they remember me as a small child. I think that's fine.

With people like this who I send cards to, I generally put "and family".

I would only ask my parents to pass my address on if the other person had sent me an individual card at my parents' address.

People are just trying to cut down on the number of cards they send. My mother gets quite a few cards that still mention mine and my siblings' names. I don't really expect all my aunts and old family friends to remember our addresses, or the names of partners and children never mind going to the bother of buying and posting separate cards.

I do find it strange when my name is included on wedding invites to my mother, though.
