Giselle has been so photoshopped in that advert that she looks like one of those rubber sex dolls. She's a ridiculously beautiful woman anyway FFS. No need to make her into an orange blur.

I'm worried about Charlize Theron in that J'Adore ad. Her legs appear to have grown several inches. I know she's a statuesque lady, but it looks ridiculous.

The Gerard Butler one annoys me, his jowls seem to have taken a strong dislike to each other and are fighting to escape... I generally like him but the fact he is in a perfume aftershave gives me the rage!
I do like the alexander skarsgard one (because he is delicious) but haven't seen it this year

Absolutely not. I'm glad its not just me - I fucking hate it and most of the other ones too. The Chloe one has just been on I can't stand it!!! 'Pick up the phone' 'You looked so pretty'. Piss off. My DS who is 9 can't stand them either. He held his head in his hands the other day and shouted 'I hate these adverts. They don't make sense. Arrggghhh!!!!'

My hatred goes mostly to the pick up the phone one, it just seems like an old pervert grooming a young girl.
Chanel 5 always have dire ads, this year is the weird gisele one and last year was the brad pit one.

There was one a few years back called "L'Homme" with a chap with a deep voice doing the voice-over. Now every time an aftershave advert comes on DH and I have a competition to see who can say L'Homme in the deepest voice

well obvs "she'd better shape up" and stop neglecting him by looking after his child (and surfing). Because "to his heart he must be true" and he "really wants" the done up , sexy, snogs the face of him giselle not sporty/domestic gisele.
Hence him wrirting breaky up letters and getting her to chase him down.

I think the music is amazing, and the dreamy, purple lighting, one of my favourite commercials ever.

However... (being shallow alert) McConaughey looks divine in it, like a young Paul Newman. I guess that after his genuinely mesmerising performance in True Detective he doesn't need to prove that he's matured into a very fine actor, and can just pocket the very large cheque.
