Lighthearted ish - so it seems netmums have done a survey, and the netmums have nicely informed me that the name I so carefully chose for my wonderful 7 month old DD is a 'naughty' name! It's a gorgeous name too, AIBU to be grrrrrrring about this?!

Really. I've seen these lists everywhere for weeks.

BlackeyedSusan · 02/12/2014 11:23

Jacob went from naughty to nice... (or was it the other way round?)

50ShadesofNope · 02/12/2014 11:32

Oh dear. My name is on there. I guess it's a sack of coal for me Grin

charlJ · 02/12/2014 11:34

My daughters name is number three on the naughty list. I wasn't even aware Eleanor was a very popular name so they must be very naughty to have made such an impact

mrsm16 · 02/12/2014 11:40

Oh dear ds is on the naughty list, better save the list so I can pick from the nice one when dts are born and at least il only have one naughty one then!

superbagpuss · 02/12/2014 11:43

both myself and DC are on the nice list

DH doesn't appear at all - how do I tell if he is good or bad?

InfinitySeven · 02/12/2014 11:46

Charl I don't think you need to worry about extra-naughty behaviour, it's all regional.

I know loads of Eleanors in London and Birmingham, hardly any anywhere else.

This list is stupid. Neither me nor DP are on it.

Trinpy · 02/12/2014 11:47

so if you're called Jacob then you're nice but the second you shorten it to Jake you become naughty? Interesting.

TheNewStatesman · 02/12/2014 11:56

Well.... given the number of threads I've seen on MN about "how come it's always the naughty kids in my child's class who come home plastered in stickers??" I wouldn't take this awfully seriously. It's often kids with more behavioral issues who get a lot of stickers, because teachers give stickers as a way of reinforcing very small improvements in behavior etc. (I'm not commenting on whether this is good or bad--just that this is really common.)

DoubleValiumLattePlease · 02/12/2014 11:58

Why did I even waste five minutes on that! FFS Angry - I would expect to see that sort of thing on the Fail with 7 billion comments about bringing back corporal punishment for all Jakes. Silliness in extremis and all that pink too - Grin

HedgehogsDontBite · 02/12/2014 12:03

So Jacob went from naughty to nice the year DS was born. They've obviously never met the little monkey.
