To think that the woman who messaged me on Ebay to ask a special favour

..which involved me going out, buying stuff, putting it together (was party cups containing loads of different things and nicely bagged and decorated), paying money for petrol and parking and wasting my bloody time - where was I? To think that this woman could at the very least message me that she's changed her mind?
She wanted a load of prefilled party cups sent today so she'd get them tomorrow. I warned her guaranteed postage would be expensive - she said no problem. So now I'm left with a shitload of party cups that had it been up to me I wouldn't have bloody had at all. Waste of money listing them, waste of time boxing them all up so they wouldn't crush, waste of bloody time unpacking the box and putting them all God Knows Bloody Where. Damn I'm pissed off.
So if you're a MN'er (I'm not shitty enough to give your location. Yet) and it's your kid's surprise party tomorrow I hope the party cups you got in the end are cheap and shitty and come with the smell of poo firmly attached.
That is all.

Definitely fb. If they're good quality they'll shift before the week is out. Honestly. Just give a really food description, price and location. Honestly!

If it's any consolation I can tell you how I got revenge on a shitty seller (I know yours is the buyer).

He sold me a knock off cd. I was cross as it wasn't described as fake, and it wouldn't play in my CD player. I gave him negative feedback. He gave ME negative feedback. I saw red.

I contacted eBay, PayPal, the counterfeit people (forgot what they're called...) And wait for it.... The record company EMI. I contacted everyone else who had given him bad feedback with the above links.

He was removed from eBay. I was refunded in full and sent a load of random CDs from emi to thank me for my time. All over a Tony Christie CD Smile

How do you know there wasn't an emergency?

and your posting this while she is stuck in a&e with her ds

I have to say whenever I read this sort of comment I think the poster is a lunatic.

Well with all due respect I assumed that it had all been done via PayPal and she just hadn't turned up. I posted just as the op updated that she hadn't taken any payment at all.

Gileswithachainsaw · 27/11/2014 20:21

And if you read the posts just before mine others assumed the same thing.

that money usually changes hands first.

It's more than. plausible if someone had paid and not shown up that there was an emergency.

Screen - way to go! I'd like your toughness - I will make that my goal!
You know - the thing is with assuming disaster scenarios - I dunno - it doesn't really help in the moment does it and really has such a case ever turned out to be true?
In the case of A & E there's usually enough of a wait to pen a note to the Pope never mind drop a line to someone who is waiting to hear from you! Anyway I'm so over it now and this thanks almost exclusively due to the helpful people on this thread so thank you all
