Lots of videos from people thanking their husband or wife for being such a good friend! If I want to say that to my husband I'll tell him to his face, I don't need to boast about it to the whole FB world.

Pass the sick bucket please!

I'm far more bored with the 'share this to win' posts that my feed is full of.

sharonthewaspandthewineywall · 23/11/2014 12:46

I think they are bollocks and agree about the gloatyness.
Usual you do understand people are entitled to a view that's different to yours dont you? That is the kind of point of this board is it not?

usualsuspect333 · 23/11/2014 12:50

And do you understand that people can do what the fuck they like on their FB and if you don't like it you can delete them.

The sheep mentality of hating all things FB is alive and well on MN.

sharonthewaspandthewineywall · 23/11/2014 12:53

Of course but I really dont get the need for the agression.
Meh.

usualsuspect333 · 23/11/2014 13:02

I'd just like to know what is acceptable to post on FB. According to MN there should be no photos of kids, presents, cats, dogs, holidays or your dinner.

No being happy and proud of your kids,no being unhappy. No videos,no wishing anyone happy birthday. No speaking to your partner.

No updating your status about mundane everyday life.

Baffles me what some people think FB is for.

JackSkellington · 23/11/2014 13:12

I use FB to talk to friends abroad and it's easier than texting for me, especially for group conversations/event invitations.

I've just blocked the baby/dinner photo spammers and constant status updaters from my news feed. Grin I don't want to delete FB because it's useful, but think it's okay to dislike some of it.
If someone sends me one of these awful videos I'll just ignore it, same as if they pop up on my news feed, but won't rant about it.

LeopardInABobbleHat · 23/11/2014 13:28

How peevish do you have to be to see something you're not keen on and get annoyed about it because it's not your Thing?

Mulligrubs · 23/11/2014 14:32

I don't think they're cringey, I think they're very sweet. Have seen a few on my newsfeed and I like them. Might even make one myself and post it just to piss off grumpy cows like some of you on this thread.

Shockers · 23/11/2014 15:43

I love fb, but think the thank you videos are crap!

Summerisle1 · 23/11/2014 15:45

Facebook make the videos, it just asks you if you want to post it

It's never made one for me. Clearly I need to sit in the friendless corner and sulk.

ginnycreeper5 · 23/11/2014 15:57

Share this post if you have a ......... you love. Usually accompanied by lots of Sparkles and Teddybears or a corny sunset.

Pass the sickbucket. Envy

What is this latest nomination thing that's cropped up? Confused
I need to keep up with things on the Book of Faces.
