So there seems to be a current price war and disney dvds are £7 each on amazon.

Have 2 DDs ages 6 and 3 so thinking of getting a collection started.

So am i being unreasonable to ask, what are your all time top 3 Disney DVDs that all families should have?

"If Disney released a big box set I would totally buy it. Why don't they?"

OR. A pick n' mix where you build your own set of, say, 10 for £50 or similar. With all the classic titles to pick from!

Would totally be all over that.

Mum2Pea · 15/11/2014 21:29

wow - thanks all.

More confused than ever!

think i will be buying 10 x 3 with all these wonderful suggestions Grin Grin

Shockers · 16/11/2014 14:25

I love Robin Hood and I have a crush on him!

Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo remind me of lovely afternoons with my two youngest.

Mary Poppins was my favourite though, or Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, or Wizard of Oz (are they Disney?)

Alisvolatpropiis · 16/11/2014 15:27

The Sword in the Stone
The Mouse Detective
Robin Hood

I agree Fishing! I love Ghibli films. DD always chooses one when we're having a lazy afternoon in because she knows they're my favourite Smile.

BreakOutTheKaraoke · 16/11/2014 16:13

Beauty and the Beast is always number 1.

Can't choose between the rest- Little Mermaid, Frozen, Enchanted, Jungle book, Aladdin. I was set on Frozen and Little Mermaid, until I remembered the Genie and had to reconsider.

Lovecat · 16/11/2014 16:15

Although I'm nodding away like mad with the Studio Ghibli love, those DVDs aren't ever on offer , so to answer the OP, my top 3 would be:

Sleeping Beauty
Robin Hood
Enchanted

If we're allowed Pixar & other collaborations, I'd choose Toy Story, Up and The Nightmare Before Christmas :)

fourwoodenchairs · 16/11/2014 16:19

The Little Mermaid, Snow White, Pochahontas, Alice in Wonderland, Aladdin. All of them to be honest.

ExpectTheVeryUnexpected · 16/11/2014 16:37

Fishing - spirited away was one of the most bizarre things I ever saw. Loved Arrietty though. my Disney top three would be pocahontas, little mermaid and beauty & the beast (including the little mermaid 2 and 3 movies) my niece would say frozen, tangled and brave.

Hez2386 · 16/11/2014 19:19

Beauty and the Beast
The Lion King
Aladdin
Smile

ByTheWishingWell · 16/11/2014 20:42

Spirited Away is fantastic, and only £7.40 on Amazon. Add it to your list Wink

tawnyowlsrock · 16/11/2014 22:59

Frozen
Tangled
Cinderella

Writerwannabe83 · 16/11/2014 23:04

There are just too many to choose from!!!

I can only select ones from my childhood as have absolutely no idea about Disney Films within the last 20 years.

As a child my favourite ones were:

Little Mermaid
Sleeping Beauty
Beauty and the Beast

SuzanneCrazyEyes · 17/11/2014 07:43

Hercules
Hunchback of Notre Dame
Beauty & The Beast
Aladdin

MorelliOrRanger · 19/11/2014 18:22

Brave is good too.

Love the idea of a box set, but with over 50 films it would cost alot of money.

Colyngbourne · 19/11/2014 18:58

Beauty & the Beast
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Pocahontas

(though I agree with the poster about Studio Ghibli films - Kiki's Delivery Service, My Neighbour Totoro and Ponyo to begin with.....)

AndHarry · 19/11/2014 19:08

Beauty and the Beast
Cinderella
Lion King
