to ask him to make me another drink?

So a colleague offered me a drink. I accepted and asked for a black coffee.
He returned saying "I instinctively put a drop of milk in it, would you like me to make you another one" and presented me with the white coffee.
I said yes please, I don't drink milk. He then sighed and said "I don't have time for all this".

So AIBU for asking him, or is he?

What an arse!

ChillySundays · 12/11/2014 22:21

Shouldn't have offered to remake if he was going to get arsey over it

UncrushedParsley · 12/11/2014 22:29

He is BU and a passive-agressive arse to boot.

I'm also a lack coffee drinker and have fairly frequently had white coffees made by mistake. I would usually happily go and remake my own, but if someone offered to do it I would be a bit Confused if they then complained. He obviously expected you to say don't worry about it and either drink it or go and make another yourself.

What a knob. Why did he offer to make it again to correct his mistake if he couldn't spare a minute to do it Hmm

WiseKneeHair · 12/11/2014 22:34

Unfortunately, the coffee is often lacking as well as being black. Grin

Twat! Him not you!

CaulkheadUpNorth · 12/11/2014 22:53

Glad it's not just me! Phew

Bit stupid of him to know he'd made it wrong but still bring it to you to be honest. I drink black coffee...previous colleagues have actually said they like the fact that I was in the brew circle because it's so little bother to make it, they feel like they're getting a free go when it's my turn to brew up.

WellnowImFucked · 12/11/2014 23:28

Total arse, in my mind.

He's made it sound a bit king of the mountain deigning to do a common task, be grateful even if it's wrong. . . .
