Seriously. Hurts so much I don't know what to do with myself. Night shift tonight. Have already taken as many painkillers as I should today.

Don't know what to do.

I had terrible period pain- twice friends called an ambulance, so really bad. Mefanaemic acid (sp) helped. But when I started going to the gym 5 times a week it really eased it- I appreciate you may already exercise, if so ignore me!
So if you haven't tried it,give it a go. It changed my life!

No Y.N.B,U at all. Period pains are no bloody joke. I've had to phone in sick myself with them before now.
Hope u feel better soon

I adore my Mirena.

Instead of a week of flooding, migraines, vomiting and agony.

I get a mild twinge once a month, passing headache and a little spotting when I wipe.

Oh and spots. But I consider the spots a fair trade off.

I hope your pain subsides.

Yanbu to phone in sick how can you do your work when you are in extreme pain.

The dr told me at 15 that a baby would help, my mother who had come to the appointment nearly knocked him out lol. I can't take codeine either as it makes me really queasy. Mother nature is a bitch!

Oh you poor thing Flowers

I had similar. Bad cramps that radiated from my thighs, all the way up my back. Extreme nausea - in fact the nausea may have been the worst part Sad everything way made worse by moving. So taking the necessary toilets trips was awful. This was all whilst on the pill.

I tri-cycled the pill for a while, and it got to the point where I was taking the same day off every 3 months it was that bad on my first day.

Eventually after numerous useless gp apps, and an ultrasound that showed nothing, I walked in and demanded to be referred to the gynae at my local hospital. They did a laparoscopy to diagnose endo and remove any they found (they found some on one of my ovaries), and also put in a mirena while I was under.

My life now is so much better. V occasional mild cramps, and no periods Grin I do get hormonal spots like a pp said, but fair enough!

You've been referred so hopefully things will move a bit faster now. I had "Internet-diagnosed" my endo before my dr uttered the word Hmm

If it interests you, they was a site I found yonks ago, about the endo diet. Some people believe endo is worsened by some foods, and cutting those out can really reduce symptoms. Not my sort of thing, but may suit you if you can stick to it?

Sorry for epic post Blush hope you feel better soon x
