DH didn't 'sleep around' the cat last night. Should I LTB?

She was sleeping at our feet as usual but he stretched out and she ended up getting off the bed.
Surely rule one of cat ownership is that you sleep round the cat.
He also thinks it is ok to move her if she is sat in his chair.

I think leaving might be the best option.

Anything you can dream up, the cat will do worse. Leave it to Moggy.

PMSL @ the cat on lap cartoon. Brilliant!

I'm afraid I'm a meanie Mummy and the cat sleeps downstairs. I can't sleep with my legs restricted and she kept sleeping at the foot if the bed. She was banished.

YANBU
My DH is the same, he 'accidentally' moves his legs on purpose,
Just last night I made him stop drilling (DIY) as it was scaring my precious timid boy Grin'

You will not need to LTB.

Your cat will already be plotting his death. Expect squeaky mice, tinkly balls, dead birds and possibly even the cat herself to be found strewn in his path (especially on the stairs) at any moment.

RIP Pipbin's DH Sad

To make it clear DH worships the cat. He likes her on the bed at night and is disappointed if she isn't there.

She normally sleeps at my feet, being 5ft3 there is room. However DH is 6ft4 and simply takes up too much room.

well then I think it's fairly obvious who has to go...

Toooldtobearsed · 06/11/2014 10:32

Think yourself lucky.

We start off in a super king size with just the two of us.

We wake up with the cat stretched at full reach between us, head on pillow, and the dog taking up the full width of the bed at the bottom. I have managed to reserve the last 3 inches of the bed.

In cat and dog world sneaking onto the bed when everyone is asleep does NOT count as being naughty.

The cat is the leader. Of that I am sure.

MidniteScribbler · 06/11/2014 11:23

I just asked the four dogs taking up all of my bed. They said your DH must be destroyed.

.........I made my parents buy me a double bed when I was younger as I was struggling to sleep round the cat in my single bed!.......

When I had a single bed, I slept on 6 inches at the edge.

When I got a double bed, I slept on 6 inches on the edge.

I now have a king size bed - I still sleep on 6 inches at the edge!
