To think Tampax should stay in its packaging?

Yes yes, I know the answer is Mooncup, but...

Every flipping time!

I always keep 2 x tampax discreetly tucked into handbag and without fail, they make their way out of the packaging and roam around my bag getting covered in bits of biscuit, tangling their string around my keys and then magnetically attach themselves to my hands every time I rummage for money/cards/anything in haste, in public.

And apart from anything else, they render themselves useless.

Why can't they stay in their packaging? Why?

I was coping with this until this morning when one catapulted itself (naked naturally) out of my bag and into my face as I was trying to find a school trip permission slip for the po-faced school receptionist.

The packaging is not fit for purpose.

Either that, or Tampax are actually alive.

These are the plastic packaging ones. not paper. They still strip off.

For me it's condoms! Springing from my bag with gay abandon - not sure why as it's been about 5 years Hmm Whenever I do check them they're usually out of date - how sad does that make me feel - and those things have bloody looong dates on them!

Once out with a chap for a meal (just as friends) condom merrily popped out of my bag. I just snatched it back and popped it back into bag stating rather unflatteringly firmly "Ooh that's not for you!"

You need non-applicator lilets.. far easier to secrete into little pockets in bags and coats and even jeans pockets.

I prefer applicator tampons these days, but if you don't mind non-applicator then Moxie sell theirs in very cute wee round tins. They do look like sweets, then, though Grin

Tampax do this to me too . I buy the ones that are wrapped in paper. Think it's time I invested in one of those wee boxes that have been linked to.

I feel a bit stupid, I had to google "What is a digital tampon" after seeing a product on BobPat's link...thought it might be something very high-tech and exciting!
