Dp loves candles, but I've always thought they are not good with all that black smoke. We have cut down a lot, but aibu to just get rid of them all?

I hear that beeswax candles are safe, but a pack of 6 tea lights costs 5, so no way can we afford that.

Do you have wifi? What about the potential but as yet unproven risk to the human brain that hasn't been subjected to radio waves for 100s of years. You should get rid of the internet for the sake of the children

Wrt power cuts-xmas before last xmas day and boxing day! It was HELL!

YANBU candles release harmful fumes and toxins into the air they are dangerous the same as air fresheners and scented cleaners
id show evidence of this to your DP and tell him how harmfull theybare they are. wellness mama has a very good article on them and lots of alternatives
