to think that a softplay is not 'proudly serving Starbucks Coffee' if they are in fact using a can of squirty UHT cream?

When you pay Starbucks prices for roadside caf' quality....it rankles a bit.

Weeeelllllll there are things you can do bar moan on t'internet. I imagine it is a franchise no? If so then you could complain to the owner and possibly you could even moan to Starbucks head office as I imagine they are supposed to offer the same products across the board and perhaps UHT squirts cream was being used temporarily because of some issue.

It really depends on how important this is to you OP Grin

It's important enough to moan on a thread about it, but not important enough to wage a one-woman war against injustice. Does that cover it? Grin

Do people actually put whipping cream on coffee then? Halloween Shock
I don't drink coffee, or tea, but when I've made people coffee at home they've never asked for whipped cream on it Confused
I don't know if YABU or not, I like squirty cream out of a can, prefer it to whipped, but if you were expecting something different I guess you would have been disappointed. I've never been to a Starbucks though, so wouldn't know what they use.
Tbh, I'm just a bit baffled that people put whipped cream on their coffee Halloween Grin

I have it on iced coffee. I don't like hot coffee, generally.

BfB you're entirely right - whipped cream from the can is ok. I like it well enough. But I wouldn't pay 40p for a thin squirt of squirty cream that dissolves on contact with , knowing that in a normal Starbucks/Costa/Cafe Nero coffee shop, the 40p is for a thick crown of whipped fresh cream.
