Thanks elephants - I'm looking at another 2 days bed rest here minimum, best case scenario. Worst case is 2 days bed rest followed by scary sounding blood patch followed by more bed rest. All I wanted was a nice week at home with the kids. Ah well.

ElephantsNeverForgive · 28/10/2014 23:51

Here's hoping for best case scenarios Flowers

SundaeGirl · 28/10/2014 23:53

My DH also calls it Bitchnet.

PrettyPictures92 · 29/10/2014 07:37

Sorry OP I don't think you got the response you were looking for Grin

HerVagesty · 29/10/2014 07:52

My husband doesn't have a nickname for the place, but he did despair at thread recently about annoying OH's, where a PP's DH would bring home shopping and give her an item-by-item run down of what he bough, driving her mad.

Showed him as he does the same thing.... he hasn't done it since!!!

Mumsnet FTW Grin

Castlemilk · 29/10/2014 07:56

At least he didn't say Netbitches.

Now THAT would mean instant death.

elQuintoConyo · 29/10/2014 08:06

DH called it Netmums once.

Once.

Don't think he knew the other site exists, slip of the tongue so I keep telling myself

I wouldn't be impressed with bitchnet, angrybirds, whiningmumsnet etc. Jealousy Grin

mrspremise · 29/10/2014 10:09

DH only notices Mumsnet when I'm reading a potential classic thread; silently occasionally snorting shaking with laughter with tears running down my face... "Mumsnet again? " he'll ask.

HappydaysArehere · 29/10/2014 10:26

My husband always feigns fear when I threaten him with mumsnet. He gives whoops of disbelief when I read out the odd comment. He also knows that if I need some help with technology, purchasing a washing machine. Sorting out any household problem or having a good laugh I am on Mumsnet. There are some nasty and unnecessary remarks but thankfully they are in the minority. In the main, Mumsnet has an ethos of help, support, interest and fun. Good on yer girls.
