....the brush is always dry?
I understand they can't show a clumsy bastard like me with toothpaste foam running down his hand and all over the black jumper I've just put on but at least show the product in action.

Neil, me too, i manage to get toothpaste on my clothes, even once in my hair! Its so sticky and messy, a bugger to get off clothes. The people in ads have none of these woes and generally have lovely straight very white teeth too.

Dentist told me not to use water though I still do

jellyandbeans · 25/10/2014 16:34

Yes, the bathrooms gleam too. No wonder folk feel so down when adverts rarely show life as it really is. Food ads are filmed in large clean modern kitchens too.

I always use my toothbrush dry, I also spit rather than rinse at the end. Both recommended by my dentists my husband spends most of the time he brushes his teeth with the brush under the running tap. We both have good teeth, so whose to say who is right Grin

OwlWearingSunglasses · 25/10/2014 16:42

My dentist told me to not to wet the brush before cleaning my teeth.

Minerves · 25/10/2014 19:33

and they always put far too much toothpaste on the brush!

18yearsoftrying · 26/10/2014 05:22

They always use a max of 3 different colours too, to match the colour of the logo now.

The clothes & footwear the actors/actresses wear, the colour of the brush, the towels, the walls, the flooring, the toothpast tube, the paste itself....

giraffescantboogie · 26/10/2014 06:21

Apparently you are not meant to wet the brush.

dibdobs · 26/10/2014 07:26

I was told to wet the brush before the toothpaste goes on not after
