To move house the day after DS's Birthday?

Wondering if it's going to overshadow his birthday too much?

It's only his 2nd and we were only going to do something low key anyway (just DS, OH and me) but now it looks likely it's going to have to move the very next day, thus meaning DS's Birthday will no doubt be spent packing / shifting smaller stuff.

We moved the day before DD's second birthday. It wouldn't have occurred to me not to TBH.

I wrapped her presents and put them in a box marked up so I could find them, she had a shop bought cake and no party.

It didn't bother us or her at all. Go for it OP. The move is more important.

Yes, YABU, nothing should ever overshadow your PFB's birthday. There will be other houses. You sound incredibly selfish, it is all me me me.
