To complain to the council about the parking warden parking anywhere?

Something wrong about this
I'm sat waiting for ds to finish his club, I have bought my pay and display ticket
The warden has just parked his car- where he would get a ticket- and proceeded to start his rounds.

10 minutes so far

Is there a parking ticket equivalent of a citizens arrest?

Garrr, this would boil my piss. Quick take a pic with your phone and email to the councils relevant dept.
I have no problem with parking regs, but sauce for the goose......

It depends- is he on yellow lines/hatched area or equivalent? If so, is it definitely an area that needs to be kept clear or is it there to ensure the warden always has somewhere to park up? Generally I agree sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. But there are exceptions- clearly it's OK for me to park in my drive as I own it. But I wouldn't be happy about someone else parking there. I would guess that the warden doesn't own the car park, but does work for the person/organisation who does. Therefore they may have special permission to disregard certain rules.

Of course, if he's parked where he's causing an obstruction or on an area marked 'fire exit- keep clear' then one of the above applies!

none of the above!

ShakeYourTailFeathers · 23/10/2014 19:16

He shouldn't park illegally, but nor should he have to pay for a pay and display ticket to park a council vehicle in a council car park in order to do his job....

Take a picture and send it to the council Grin
