To give up on the MN mobile site?

It's driving me mad. The constantly moving options bar rarely responds to what I try to select so I spend my time navigating away from the damn ads that it has gone to. Or alternatively giving up on trying to post or catch up with threads.

I know the ads keep MN free but they rarely are for anything that interests me so they are just spoil the MN experience. I'm sticking to using the desktop site on my mobile.

I'm using it on an Android (MotoG) and the only annoyance is that sticky threads are too sticky. I have to log out and log back in again or they just pile up till I have pages and pages of them before I get to Active Threads

Hear hear. And also with the incredibly annoying default back to the mobile site every now and then. It's like a desperate attempt to get me to give in and use it. I WON'T!

Blue menu bar stays put for me too. Tab 3 android. It moves on my ipod touch though

It looks totally different now. There is a bar on mine obscuring every OP. I have to guess what it's about
I don't mn on the bus to work anymore.

No issue with the menu bar, but the bookmarks irritate the fuck out of me. When I refresh the page, it jumps to the bookmark, then a few seconds later goes to the top of the page. So the bastard KNOWS where the bookmark is, it just chooses to do something else.

It's absolute crap. It's just so they can put adverts in.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Mini. The blue bar follows me down the page but only works when i'm scrolled up to the top.

The other problem I have is that if I choose a thread a certain distance down it takes me down to active convos not the thread I want. In the main menu this means I can't get into 'body & soul'.

I miss the old mobile site.

Blue bar moves for me-galaxy ace- and the buttons dont work when I use them, however they work perfectly when I am trying to access a thread.

They drive me bonkers!

Clearly the mobile site and the app are trying to outdo each other in the shit stakes.
