To not know what a healthy cereal for my toddler would be?

He's gets porridge every morning so don't suggest porridge please!

I need something to fill him on those evenings when he refuses dinner. I've not given him cereal before as I'm honestly so confused about what is relatively healthy and what isn't.

He's 20 months.

Can anyone help?

Haver you tried the EU version of fruit loops? They've removed lots of the nastys and the sugars that were in the USA version.

Thanks for that guardian article girlwhowearsglasses. Very interesting. I do love breakfast cereal, maybe it's because of all the sugar!!

Most kids don't have serious food issues tho fireside. A lot of fussy eating is down to neurotic, over- indulgent parenting IMO. The OP would be a perfect case in point if she started dishing out the coco pops rather than get her toddler used to eating proper dinners.

I'm just as sick as you are of other people pretending that having reasonably good eaters is just pot luck, and takes no effort. Bollocks. It'd be far easier (and cheaper) to cook chips and beans every night or send my kids to school with crisps and cake bars.

Porridge.

Why do people continue on a thread when the OP posts one starter.......then disappears?
