Blah, bones are for dogs, balh, fish are for cats, blah?

Why are they all so stridently labelled?

My dog actually prefers fish, my cat, meh, who ever knows? Wink

Surely we should be strving to not pigeonhole them? Poor creatures Sad forced into such constrictiveness.

Disclaimer: I don't actually have a dog, but if I did, he'd not be forced into such narrow purchasing decisions.

SaucyJack · 16/10/2014 22:07

You wanna be careful dude. Your dog might grow up to be one of those pescetarians.

chocolateyvelvet · 16/10/2014 22:08

My dog actually prefers fish, and when I bought him a fish-bone bowl the assistant asked why. I was polite but I made it clear he could eat out of whatever he wanted.

I hate how they have to conform Sad

My cat prefers to steal leftover takeaway curry.

Even though it knows I want to eat it for breakfast tomorrow.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 16/10/2014 22:12

What a curry-stealing bascat, TRills. Angry

BeyPre, SIOB! You mean he might catch the purrs? Ostracisation is truly the beginnig. Sad

There's a dog treat brand called Good Boy.

The cat version is called Good Girl.

But my dogs are girls and my cats are boys Confused

ChaosTrulyReigns · 16/10/2014 22:14

chovel where is your Capitalisation, huh? Your dog should be OUT and PROUD, no ashamedness needed to justify sone slightly unconventional lifestyle choices. WEEP.

My cat rarely leaves the house without her lead and clutching a bone - I certainly don't intend to make her change

NorksAreMesssy · 16/10/2014 22:17

My dogs eat the cats' food when they aren't looking.
They are out and proud of being pussy-food-lovers

KingJoffreysBloodshotEye · 16/10/2014 22:29

My cat prefers to steal leftover takeaway curry.

Mine too.

There are few things in life more minging than the litter tray the morning after a curry...

Hmm

I'm pretty sure I can taste that image you've so darlingly conjured there, Joffers.

Cheers. Hmm

My cat had leftover Chinese once and threw up outside the bedroom door, ready for me to step in at 5am. I've never quite forgiven him.
