Years and years ago, my boyfriend, now husband, shared a house with another young guy. Every Friday night for about 3 months, he would hook up with this girl at our regular pub, and they would get home later than us. They would then proceed to have the loudest sex imaginable. I mean moans and shrieks! On the first occasion I thought murder was being done! Sympathies op!

Yes, I'll talk to him. I've only seen him (let's call him Willy) once (very briefly!) since he met this girl (on Monday, I think?). I guess he's been otherwise occupied...

It's quite a large house, lots of people. Before I moved in (at the beginning of summer), Willy and the other people who lived our corner of the house would have competitions on who could make their partner scream the loudest.

He would probably like it if I "offered" a hand. He's "down to fuck" as the kids like to say. I'm pretty sure he's been trying to sleep with me since I moved in, but I'm also a bit oblivious about that sort of thing. Also, not not really into men.

Oh, and for the poster who was wondering, I'm 21 and he's 28/9. We're all Americans, so I'll be out of the house for classes for another 6 hours (thank god).

I talked to Willy earlier. He seemed aware at how noisy they were being and wasn't particularly apologetic. I told him to move his bed so it wasn't thwacking against our shared wall. He reminisced about what a great time he had.

He doesn't do girlfriends. Friends with benefits or one night stands (or 3 nights in this case).

Ahh, I remember this as a regular thing from house sharing days. I remember handling in a few different ways (depending on the person involved). 1) amusing myself by rating each session out of 10 2) texting my friend asking her to tone it down or put some ambient music on 3) playing the 'performance' on speakerphone to my then boyfriend now DH and all his colleagues, working a night shift...

I also remember going on holiday and sharing a room with a friend who brought home a different guy every night. After several nights propping up the 24hr bar, I'd had enough and marched straight into the room saying 'don't mind me, I'm just going straight to sleep' apparently my snoring was somewhat off putting...

Next time, I think I'll play a YouTube clip of clapping and cheering....
