OH bought me a SodaStream from The ***, (am i allowed to mention the shop?)

Got it home - excited, drank some of the samples, then OH noticed that the best before date was JULY!! (ie 3 months ago) I emailed SS and they were lovely and are sending out a new set, and were VERY quick

The ***, however, have sent me a stock reply

I think its a bit shy personally, and i am happy that SS sorted it out but would have expected something a bit better from The *

An 80s flashback?

One second while I go get my Stylophone and play us all a tune Grin

The Range generally says on their reduced stickers if something is is reduced because it is out of date. Which Branch of The Range did you buy it at?

jezzapaxmanslovechild · 16/10/2014 22:09

I can still remember the numbers for ' silent night ' on the stylophone - it was owt but silent - surprised my parents didn't lock me in the shed...

SistersOfPercy · 16/10/2014 22:09

Tonic water? You want the soda stream cocktails, the mojito ands cosmopolitan are amazing.
Word of advice though, do not, under any circumstances attempt to fizz pure orange juice. It won't end well...

SpringBreaker · 16/10/2014 23:17

fizzing a bottle of cheap white wine works remarkably well Grin

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 17/10/2014 08:10

spring does it really work? how do you do it, when I tried it all fizzed up and squirted out of the top.

Surfsup1 · 17/10/2014 08:47

If the samples were fine when you drank them what was the problem?

SistersOfPercy · 17/10/2014 10:35

Step away, did you decant the wine into the plastic soda stream bottle to the fill line? Don't try and fizz the wine bottle directly.

The orange issue I had was I didn't fill to the fill line and when I took it off it exploded Blush
Never been brave enough to try again.

I was wondering why you contacted Social Services!

ghostyslovesheep · 17/10/2014 10:41

I love SS (the fizzy drinks maker) and yes the DO do tonic Grin

Gruntfuttock · 17/10/2014 12:59

"I was wondering why you contacted Social Services!"

Well that would be because you're bonkers.

ScarletFever · 17/10/2014 13:59

is it ok to put wine etc in the bottles and fizz them? as it says only put water in.....

(ew fizzy orange juice, isn't that what happens when OJ goes off?)
