To think that Aldi and Lidl food is more calorific?

Just been comparing some items with branded items I've bought from the big 4.

Aldi and Lidl items seem to contain more calories for the same size product. Has anyone else found this? I've just cooked some of their frozen battered cod (lazy cooking night tonight) and whilst they were big and actually quite vile tbh they had just over 600 calories in them. Is it just me who thinks this?

I didn't know there were condoms called it as well! I'll never look at ice cream in the same way!

I compared Lidl porridge oats with branded yesterday, Lidl's were less calorific and had more protein.

And even with the branded product on a half price promotion, the Lidl own brand was cheaper.

I think you are right you know! That must be where the extra ten lbs has arrived from!

Mind you, most stock up on veg and fruit at Lidl and Aldi!

Bigger food has more calories? Well slap my arse with a toadstool and call me tallulah Wink

I think I burn about 1000 calories packing the trolley at 400 mph anyway.

And YABU to get the giant battered cod, the lightly dusted sole is yummier and healthier.

Lidl s version of a well-known and recognizable ice cream did indeed have more calories than the version named after a tv series in the 80's

Well I'm clearly thick, as I spent at least 45 seconds running through 80's shows such as Dallas, Brush Strokes, Renta Ghost and Falcon Crest before I saw your mention of Tom Selleck.

Dur.
