Raynauds - how to cope in school?

Dd has quite severe Raynauds and spends a lot of her time in school various shades of white. Her hands, feet ears and nose all go white in the cold.

If you have had it how did you keep in uniform in school.

Posting here mainly for traffic but it's probably not unreasonable to assume some mumsnetter has had to cope with Raynauds through school.

Thermals, keep wrists/ankles warm. Wrist warmers and gloves, ear muffs.

Contact raynauds society. They sell silver gloves and socks.

would/could an electric foot massager help with the circulation?

I'm a mature student.

Agree with all posted so far, but also. Get a hot rox electric hand warmer. Bloody brilliant.

I do find the core temperature works for me,but Not always. Keeping my ankles and wrists warm helps loads.

Tell the school, obviously, not just about clothes but less obvious adjustments: I get 20 mins per hour extra in exams, because the stress of an exam triggers the white finger, and I find it hard to write. I could have a laptop or even a scribe if I wanted.

I also have dispensation to wear a hat :)

Yes agree soooo much with hot rox suggestion, it's the best thing I've ever used. Sheepskin boots, fingerless gloves and a scarf also.
