Hi. I'm looking around to see what other opportunities there are, and I came across this job:

www.careerbuilder.co.uk/uk/jobseeker/jobs/jobdetails.aspx?HostID=UK&SiteID=cb_emailrec&Job_DID=J3G1W475FL5BHRP4MNX&IPATH=JEHRAXP&je=myrec&EmailToken=&sc_cmp2=10_JobMat_JobDet

It's 6 hours a week but they have to be flexible? You need a car. And more hours in school holidays?

It might be possible as an extra on top of another job but how honestly could you do this?

Sounds like a standard personal carer job to me.
Car to assist in social activities, flexible around hours as it might mean assisting to appointments, social activities, which can have various times.

I know :) but practically how could you do it unless you're independently wealthy without children?

What I mean is - because the hours would vary it would be difficult to have another job around it.

And if it was a mum with young children who perhaps could get parents or ILs to mind the children while she works, that would cause difficulties in school holidays - do you see what I mean? :)

Looks like the kind of thing that might suit certain types of students, studying a relevant subject.

Yeah I agree that it sounds like the sort of job that is targeted towards students, especially nursing or social work or something along those lines.
