There are seriously dozens Hmm of very convenient stories on here in the last week

you have to give an example

LeftRightCentre · 03/10/2014 15:36

YANBU.

Loads of ridiculous food threads, too.

LaurieFairyCake · 03/10/2014 15:38

I can't give an example, it would look like I was being rude or doing 'thread about a thread' but there are literally dozens of politically motivated threads

There always were, weren't there?

OfaFrenchMind · 03/10/2014 15:52

Are they dodgy because you do not agree with them (if so, suck it up, this is a democraty), or are they dodgy because you do not think AIBU is a platform for political message (if so, I kinda agree with you)?

gordyslovesheep · 03/10/2014 15:54

YANBU I totally get your point

LaurieFairyCake · 03/10/2014 15:55

It's because I think they're made up to actually test the waters

I'm seriously wondering if it's a lazy researcher in a think tank

I wonder if the main political parties have run out of ideas and scour popular internet forums, especially ones frequented by a group that can be fickle in their voting, to see what floats our political boats.

Thebodyloveschocolateandwine · 03/10/2014 16:08

There are always going to be trolls and journalists but haven't seen more here recently than others.

However it's pretty boring if everyone posting is a right on card carrying liberal.

There are lots of different political views in mumsnet and thank god for that
