Even though I grew up in an age before 24 hour TV (I'm 38), it seems like a million years ago!

Ooh, we were obviously dead posh, we had a remote control for our TV! It had two buttons; mute on/off and channel up. It was the size of a house brick.

I first saw a TV (teeny thing with a yellowy picture and lots of 'interference') when I was taken to a neighbour's house to watch the Coronation.

I loved Watch With Mother, especially the Flowerpot Men. And Muffin the Mule was sweet. Now you're thinking how ancient I must be. And you'd be right!
