Chicken is amazingly cheap. It was a high end luxury food when I was grwoing up in the 1960s

Chicken is incredibly cheap but the prices have crept upwards having been ridiculously low for quite some time.

I'm sure the three for £10 birds are fantastic if you're on a tight budget. They are tiny though. There is often more meat on one larger bird for £8 than two small £3-4 birds since you are not paying for twice as many bones.
