Of course this is silly and I'm sure she likes the way she looks which is all that matters. I just feel compelled to ask if I'm the only person who isn't a fan of her outfits? I don't even know why I notice or care but everytime I see a picture I have the same thought. It's irrationally bugging me.

I loved the black and white striped dress she wore and the red one, although the hem was a bit odd. Today's not so much.

And Bono wears the glasses because he looks crap without them.

LineRunner · 28/09/2014 19:36

And he looks crap with them, too.

nikki1978 · 28/09/2014 19:39

I was really surprised she is my age. I presumed a very beautiful late 40's. She must wear a lot of makeup to age herself that much.

trixymalixy · 28/09/2014 19:41

When you're that beautiful you can get away with wearing whatever the hell you like!!

Alisvolatpropiis · 28/09/2014 19:56

She's a bit quirky, I like that.

Her hair though, is absolutely fabulous. I don't think she looks old per se, rather she's a bit ageless. She could be anything from 35-50 based on looks.

She's got the kind of bone structure which suggests she will look much the same in 20 years though.

IScreamForIceCream · 28/09/2014 20:14

Someone on here linked to a video of her talking lawyer, IIRC it was to do with the political situation I Egypt. She was less thin (tho still v slim), and she was bee-yootiful. Poss the weight loss has aged her a bit.

HoneyTits · 28/09/2014 20:14

I wonder where Brad 'n Angie were? Also didnt see Sandy Bollocks, I mean Sandra BullockGrin

Greythorne · 28/09/2014 20:21

I thought she looked sublime in the white lace dress with flower embroidery.

Nyancat · 28/09/2014 20:34

Don't want to link to daily mail but it has a photo of the two of them that was apparently given to guests, she is absolutely stunning in it, looks as though she has no makeup on and very natural, she doesn't need the hair and makeup, natural beauty Envy

EmilyGilmore · 28/09/2014 20:38

In a minute people will be flaming you for daring to discuss her appearance and not her very big brain. She's a reeeeaaaally big top lawyer you know? You shouldn't even notice her clothes. Yuman rights and everything. I doubt she works anymore of course. It seems like every day she's photographed skipping down London streets in her look-at-me quirky outfits smirking coyly for the cameras and flipping her delicious mane about.

Looking at the tv pics of the wedding I thought she looked like she was loving the attention, seems very assured in front of the cameras - actually looks quite the starlet. It's very, very easy to forget the terribly important job back home.

Clooney? Yeah, I'm not buying it I'm afraid. I think if he wasn't looking at a career in politics she'd still be his girlfriend, not his wife. And I don't think they look like they know each other very well.

And yes, it's none if my business - but then neither is anything else on Mumsnet. So there.

BecauseIsaidS0 · 28/09/2014 20:45

I love her bonkers sense of style. She's got metaphorical balls. And I love the flowery dress with the weird hemline. Go big or go home Grin

mamapain · 28/09/2014 20:52

When I googled her there were a few pictures of her when she was young and it looks as though she's someone who has always had an old face.

She is really beautiful, and fabulously polished, and yes I was very Hmm about him being her intellectual equal.

abigamarone · 28/09/2014 21:25

Hmm I think her dress sense is maybe a bit bonkers, but in a good way. She looks like she has her own taste and doesn't give a damn

This, it's refreshing to see someone in the gossip pages news who hasn't had every nuance of individuality stamped into oblivion.

Rainbunny · 28/09/2014 22:58

I think GC and AA are the genuine article, but honestly it seems to be still in the infatuation stage for both of them rather than a true love situation. They have moved pretty quickly and I think that GC is infatuated by her looks and brain and the "status" she brings him while she is infatuated by GC's charm, looks and fame. They both seem like great people with good morals and a desire to make the world better. I feel this union will either be a huge success or a quiet failure 10 years down the line. Hope it's a success. Still don't like her dress style though, everything she wears just looks uncomfortable to me.

I think she could look better (ie a little softer) with less overly styled hair. Its just far too big, and looks as though its standing up from her head as if its not actually hair at all.

She is nice looking and glam, but so are many other women. I'm not keen on the head tossing thing she seems to do in videos. Maybe she is self conscious, being thrown into the public eye and will tone it down a bit as she gets more used to it. I guess also being a lawyer means she has to wear super smart clothes.

EmilyGilmore · 28/09/2014 23:33

How long have they been together? Their body language suggests the wedding was their second date.

Shopaccordingly · 28/09/2014 23:37

I think she's beautiful, interesting fashion choices, but not a bad thing. A little 'Nancy Dell'Olio's daughter' sometimes but thought they looked really happy in the pictures. Nice to see something nice in the news..

hugefatso · 28/09/2014 23:55

looking at the pictures I find them a bit vom and overly hollywood. Nothing against either of them. But I thought he was supposed to be gay?

EmilyGilmore · 29/09/2014 00:31

All quite odd actually, this spectacularly showy, almost regal, marriage to a woman he has known a matter of months. Wonder why he's turned it into such a PR roadshow. I suspect they both have political ambitions and you know, single men don't get anywhere in politics. Gotta have a wife.

Her dress on the boat after the wedding is kind of obscene. Quirky yes, but also incredibly short.

Rainbunny · 29/09/2014 01:36

I honestly wonder how many nights in a row they have stayed together? It just doesn't seem like they really "know" each other. I lived with my DH for 3 years before we married. By the time we married we knew each other as much as anyone can I think, all the mundane stuff as well as the romantic stuff. I'm obviously being judgy here and I hope I'm wrong but I think they'd be better off if they had waited a year and lived together for that year first.

I saw a pic of her in mismatched shoes & I thought "she's cool"

Bulbasaur · 29/09/2014 02:17

I like her style. It's cute.

Roonerspism · 29/09/2014 02:49

I like her style too. It's refreshingly different. She is smart.

What's she doing with him?

VestaCurry · 29/09/2014 02:58

I love the alternate pink and purple shoes, wish I knew who the designer was.

londonrach · 29/09/2014 05:37
