This is AIBU, which is, as far as I know, only on Mumsnet.

This is clearly an issue which genuinely splits people. Which isn't a huge surprise, as I think it's quite well studied that a portion of otherwise law-abiding people see no harm in taking things from a company/organisation. For some, they are seen as "fair game". I am not part of that group.

Aeroflotgirl- whilst it isn't the crime of the century (in my opinion) why do you think it is a "nice gesture" to give away someone else's property or business.
