AIBU to agonise over which iPad to buy??

I acknowledge that this is a first world problem, but I am genuinely frustrated!

My existing iPad is now over 4 years old and just doesn't work anymore. So for my birthday I've decided to treat myself to an iPad with the money I've been saving up.

I absolutely cannot decide whether to buy the iPad Mini or the iPad Air. All I know is that I want a white one

Please could someone help me out?? Any suggestions from people who have used either or both?

I think I want the mini as I would like the option of carrying it around easily on the tube, in flights etc. as well.

However, I might hold off for a bit. I have just read that there is going to be an Apple event on the 16th. They are not expected to announce a new mini, but I don't want to have regrets later on. So I suppose I will wait to see what the new offerings are all about before I buy.

I am finding this wait most frustrating though!!!

I gave my ipad retina to dd and went for the Samsung Galaxy tab s. I did a stack of research and was torn between the mini, air or the tab s. I made the right choice as it's a stunning tablet and you just add more memory when you need it. The screen is beautiful too.

Hang on till the new releases. No point in getting either an air or a current mini now. Get the newest !

I got an air on Black Friday last year and love it

IPad Air is nice. Big screen. It claims to be as light as air. Dd wouldn't say that got a swollen lip from dropping it on her face

I have an Air and love it. DH has a mini. It is too small for my ancient eyes.

Lumpy can you still use music you have bought in itunes for the ipad though?

I have an air 2. Went from the iPad 3 and I love it. For browsing I would go for the air if it will be staying at home. I almost got the mini but realised that my air fits in my handbag so for me the bigger, better screen was the best option.

I LOVE my iPad mini. It fits in all my handbags. I have used it on plane, in the car, in bed... I was in hospital for a week, and it kept me sane, I watched downloaded TV programs and movies, and read books. I play games on it. It is so portable, and I just LOVE it...
