Have pictures of your children and certainly not pictures of your nieces/nephews.

Said this today at work and got shot to flames. AIBU?

Just seen a beauty... In the first date section"who cares if you're with me you'll be having fun". Hmm

Oooooooo which site? I must have a taste of this mans "fun"

CatKisser · 24/09/2014 17:22

Ooh, yes to the ones who rant about "ignorant females" who don't reply to messages. Also, ones who include lines such as "too many nutters/psychos on here, any normal birds?"

I was once contacted by a charmer whose profile claimed he liked his women to be "chatty but not too opinionated" and he was "happy for you too have your own career but don't go on about it."

SouthernComforts · 24/09/2014 17:32

Yy to pics of kids.

Shock at the wedding day pics.

Littlefluffyclouds81 · 24/09/2014 17:46

One of my favourite hobbies at the moment is to be brutally honest with the ones that harangue you constantly even though you haven't responded to any of their messages.

"Why are you not talking to me babe?", or some such, it's like a red rag to a bull for me these days. The flood gates open. They don't generally take it well, but it is very liberating for me.

The moral of this story is, if a woman does not reply the first time, you shouldn't message her again.

BadabingBadaboom · 24/09/2014 22:49

Well I just had a guy send me a video of his daughter! WTAF? I suggested he shouldn't send videos of his daughter to any tom dick or Harry and he replied with "I wouldn't just send them to anyone I'm 32 not 12 and don't need telling off"

Erm hello! I am a fucking random mate! Shock

You shouldn't post a picture of you and your ex, even if you've used MS paint to scribble out her face.

LittlePeaPod · 25/09/2014 03:59

You shouldn't post a picture that was taken 15 years ago. A friend went on a date to discover the guy was actually 15 years older than he said online. He also admitted to uploading a younger picture. Confused

Tryharder · 25/09/2014 06:25

Lol at these. TBH, I hate having my photo taken and appear in very few photos. I suspect a lot of men resort to using their drunken night out photos or fishing photos because they haven't actually got any others.

sashh · 25/09/2014 06:30

Well it depends.

If you want to attract a paedophile then it would be a good idea.

CatWomantotheRescue · 25/09/2014 06:33

God, I loved online dating when I was single. How brilliant is it that you can easily tell who the complete idiots are just by the way they put their foot in it on their own profiles? It can be much more difficult when they're in their natural habitat - such as meeting blokes in pubs, activities, etc.

notthatshesaid · 25/09/2014 08:05

I saw one profile of a quite good looking guy which said 'the first thing you should know is no woman ever contacts me on here or replies to messages so you shouldn't bother.' I was flabbergasted. How passive aggressive. Who writes that on their profile.

You should never try to sext someone before meeting them. It's just ick.

BadabingBadaboom · 25/09/2014 09:13

I actually don't get the point in "sexting" anyway. I may be in the minority but a dirty text message when I'm sitting doing a jigsaw with my daughter is not appealing to me.
