With the banner headline 'Our biggest ever Baby Sale'? Are they selling the biggest ever baby, or are all the babies in Ocado on sale at the best ever bargain prices? And they don't say if the babies are organic, or whether they have Value babies as well as ones in their luxury range.

Sadly, ass Ocado don't deliver in my area, I can't order myself a baby and test out their service. Sad

You should complain to them for not delivering in your area, that's not on at all!

OldCatLady · 19/09/2014 13:04

No problem if they don't deliver. Most towns have 'nearly new baby sales', they're not quite newborn but usually a bit cheaper so it's ok.

My sister goes and looks sometimes, she says they are good quality.

Give it a go!

Oooh - I had forgotten the Nearly New Baby sales! Grin

Hmm but what would you get as a substitute though?

I would prefer to buy in store as I like a choice.

I wonder if they have seperate bags for them, so there's cupboard, fridge, freezer, baby?

littlemslazybones · 19/09/2014 13:12

I don't have an Ocado ad over there >>

I have nothing over there>>

I have spare money this month, sell me some shit, over there mn>>

Keletubbie · 19/09/2014 13:12

Be careful.

I ordered one of those adorable cherub-faced angels and they subbed me a red faced shitting machine that costs a fortune to maintain. Should have ticked no substitutions.

OldCatLady · 19/09/2014 13:16

keletubbie is yours 'nearly new'? Maybe someone would buy it off you. Then you'd have a few quid to buy another

TightyMcTight · 19/09/2014 13:18

A substitution for a newborn baby...a potato?

Trapper · 19/09/2014 13:20

Will it make delivery of babies easier? Will we be able to book a one hour times lot for delivery?

musicposy · 19/09/2014 13:22

I would agree with being careful. I ordered a couple but they grew very big and quite impolite and require driving everywhere. Trouble is, I'd had them ages before I realised just how large they would get and so I'm sure they will be out of warranty after all this time.

I should have read the small print before I ordered. Unfortunately the ordering process was rather easy, deliberately so, I suspect.

furcoatbigknickers · 19/09/2014 13:24

Don't buy one, they grow up to v expensive especially if on bogof

Shockers · 19/09/2014 15:12

Yes, the ordering process is really quite enjoyable. However, I found the delivery service messy and disorganised. Mine was over 2 weeks late!

I managed to palm it off on France a couple of years ago, so it's eating their cheese instead of mine now. It took me 26 years of gentle persuasion to shift the bugger!

I have a feeling they might be returning it sometime soon though and (silly me) I didn't put 'sold as seen' on the ad.

I'd better hide the cheese.

Andrewofgg · 19/09/2014 15:24

The whole system of providing babies is preposterous. You don't get a reliable date and time, you sometimes get two when you ordered one, thru come in a blue and a pink model and you can't choose, and as for the actual mechanics, don't get me started.

Amazon and UPS should take over and get it sorted.
