This is a zombie thread Fayha you would do better to start your own.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 22/07/2017 16:18

This is a zombie thread that's been bumped. Fayha just stick to the thread you started Smile

WinifredAtwellsOtherPiano · 22/07/2017 16:26

The posts have been withdrawn because this thread is three years old and a lot of older posters have had their entire track record withdrawn at their own request due to fears about outing. You see it a lot on Classic or Zombie threads - even if the original posts and threads were completely innocuous.

Fayha I recommend that you a) start a thread of your own because that way you'll get more useful advice and it won't get mixed up with stuff aimed at the original poster and b) ring Shelter for specific advice m.england.shelter.org.uk/get_advice

Amaew123 · 05/02/2022 18:18

Hi, I’m in a band b bidding for 2 bedroomed houses, as for a 3 month old baby and currently sleeping on my mums sofa in a overcrowded house just wondering how does the banding work and how likely is it to be offered a house in position 11?

Amaew123 · 05/02/2022 18:20

Hi does anyone know how long the waiting list is for a band b

Jlos · 04/04/2022 18:25

Sunshineandrainbow · 04/04/2022 18:32

Zombie thread

NewbieDivergent · 04/04/2022 18:36

I'm band D,been on the list a year and lowest I've been is 16.

Jlos · 04/04/2022 18:54

@NewbieDivergent I bid on one property the only property available in band b and i came 17/147 so 16 is good for band d id say

chloe969 · 08/06/2022 18:39

Got put into band b today how long does it take to get 1 bed flat in windsor

MrsR2be · 08/06/2022 18:42

I got a house on 4 months on band b, I got a 3 bed so at the time I had to pay bedroom tax as I was only entitled to a 2 beds. I was told I was unlikely to get a 2 beds. He you only stay in band b for a set time before being moved to band A

Meadowbreeze · 08/06/2022 18:51

My mum got a new built flat in London after 7 years in band B. She was insanely lucky though and this is very very rare.

Jlos · 08/06/2022 21:17

I’m coming in at number 11 on a property band B been in band b 9 weeks NW

Sad89 · 01/05/2023 06:20

Hi
Did you get anything because I am band 2 .and position is 33

emanresu000 · 01/05/2023 07:55

Like another poster, our local authority uses the Gold, Silver and Bronze banding system. Gold means urgent priority, Silver indicates additional requirements and Bronze would be general needs.

However, the LA also has a bidding system, and people can bid for properties that may be in a less sought after area (perhaps a little more remote) or they may be given priority for a house for other reasons.
