Friffing Organix Carrot Sticks have ruined my baby clothes!

DD2 is quite small and doing blw. I usually strip her right down when she smears food all over herself eats, but we were out all day the other day so I settled for a big over the head bib AND a muslin wrapped round her underneath.
For convenience, she had some of these carrot sticks, which are a bit like giant wotsits, at lunch and later on the train. despite the layers she still got goop on her clothes.
I came straight home and put them in a wash with some of my usual stain remover.
THE FECKING STUFF WON'T COME OUT!
They were two of her nicest baby grows, both gifts, and I'm gutted!
My dm has tried everything she can think of but the clothes are still ruined.
When I looked at the packet to see what horror ingredient might be capable of doing this, it says in teeny little letters, right at the bottom, "may cause staining."
Now I'm probably I'm being unreasonable, but surely you shouldn't HAVE to feed your child naked or wrap them in a bin liner, gaffer taped at the neck in order to feed them a fecking carrot flavoured puff!!

Same goes for the carrot rice cakes. Whilst you're in letter writing mode, could you please ask them why their porridge tastes so grim and thickens to the point of cement? Thanks. Grin

I can't believe they make them. I made that mistake once, never again! Hope you have some success

I got turmeric out of a white top with a vanish soap bar, might be worth a try if the washing up liquid doesn't work.

when dd was a toddler they used to have mild cheese wotsits which were pale coloured and that's what I used to give her rather than the messy orange ones

(although that was 10 years ago now)

Try a bit of Milton if it's white or pale colours. Seems to work better than household bleach and gets the greenish stains left from chewed up apple. Anything oil or grease based as someone said the green gloopy Swarfega is good.

Oooh thanks for the tip on washing up liquid. Hopefully it will work on 'Pasta King' stains.

I find with stains like this it's best to get them wet with COLD water put on neat fairy gel or washing up liquid and scrub by hand and rinse and then wash. Doing warn water/hot wash seems to set stains more.
