I thjnk she's asleep! But I too scared to check!

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 13/09/2014 06:30

Well she was asleep, but only until 530! Argh!

Orangedaisy · 13/09/2014 06:48

3pigs what a horrible night for you, I hope you have a chilled out day ahead-well, chilled enough for you while busy enough to wear out the LO. We were up 0015-0145, then 0400-0430 and now I think up for the day. I am almost thinking that wasn't bad. What is my world coming to?!? MIL here for the weekend, intend to send her out with the pram for an hour or two so I can blow my nose in peace.

How old is your little one orange?

Dd is 17 months!

She's never usually like this! I thought perhaps unwell first thing this morning but she seems quite chirpy now

TheOriginalWinkly · 13/09/2014 06:59

My DD is a little rascal too. She's 10 wèeks old, and started twisting and turning then coughing when put in her crib. Most people would say reflux, right? Except she had been flat on her back sleeping in the bed with me for a couple of hours, she only got slid a foot along into the bednest so I had room to get into bed after going to the toilet! I honestly think she was doing it for attention because she was stressed out on her own Confused

Orangedaisy · 13/09/2014 06:59

6 months. I am telling myself it's a phase-but I think the main reason for the waking is that she is hungry. We are trying to establish solids but it is taking time (as I would expect) so I suspect I am in it for the long haul.

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 13/09/2014 07:01

Aww see you expect it with the little ones, not with a big lump!

I am hoping dd will treat me to either two naps or one nice long one to compensate! During which I'll be trying to get 40 winks myself I think

beccajoh · 13/09/2014 07:02

Tiny bastards the lot of them.

sleepdodger · 13/09/2014 07:53

After a terrible terrible sleeper for dc1 it's only 4 years on the feeling of utter zombie is reducing and being replaced with broody....

Honeybear30 · 13/09/2014 18:55

Four years sleep?! Four years??!! I'm 6 days in ... Confused

Writerwannabe83 · 13/09/2014 19:57

I was told never to expect a good nights sleep again until DS hits 5/6 years of age Grin

Andrewofgg · 13/09/2014 20:11

How did DW and I produce a DS who slept through at six weeks and never woke us at night again?

And should I put on my flameproof underwear before the hordes of envious MNers get to me?

Writerwannabe83 · 13/09/2014 20:13

I'd run as fast as you could Andrew Grin

My first two slept through from 10-12 weeks and still do now at 5&6 years old

Dc3 on the other hand is a completely different creature!
