Watch him in August Osage County and you will be cured.

Nope, loved him in that too but won't mention creepy Paul in Atonement

sherlocksteacup · 09/09/2014 20:56

But I'm in the same position as you poor sods now - having binged on all three seasons in one go. My life is bereft. Keep asking dh if sherlock would be my friend . I want to move in

personclown I can't stop laughing at that gif! Don't know if it's because I'm on my phone and it's wee but he looks so... Troubled!!! Grin

I am still convinced id be married to david Tennant if Id only met him before he met his wife. I'm blonde, used to be a single parent!!! (That's as far as the similarities go though...)

I am reliably (constantly) informed that OH does look v much like DT though Smile

sherlocksteacup · 09/09/2014 21:15

have to get on with all of the things i haven't done today but will pop back later for sherlock therapy.
that wedding episode was one of the best pieces of tv i have ever seen!

OP posts:
DiseasesOfTheSheep · 09/09/2014 21:27

I am reliably informed by several not-friends and my one actual friend that I am actually Sherlock... Cumberbatch would hate me. Much like most people, as it happens...

sherlocksteacup · 09/09/2014 21:36

disease: can we be friends? if you are a dark and brooding man? with a sense of humour.

OP posts:
DiseasesOfTheSheep · 09/09/2014 21:38

Sorry. I'm a dark and brooding woman-creature with a colossal sense of humour.

But no courgette...

MadeMarion · 09/09/2014 21:42

BC has made Sherlock his own.

just wish he'd share a bit of his own with me

ddubsgirl77 · 09/09/2014 22:08

Same hereseen the odd2 3 eps but sat and watched season 1& 2 on netflix had to download s3

PoppyField · 09/09/2014 22:34

I've got tickets to BC's Hamlet September 2015. Ha ha ha ha hah!!!

FrankelandFilly · 09/09/2014 22:48

Sherlock is the best thing on tv at the moment. Fact!

You've already been pointed in the direction of The BCAS ( Founding Member Wink), but if you dare not venture over for now, here's a list of films/tv/radio/audio books to satisfy your CumberCraving.

In no particular order:

Radio:
Neverwhere
Cabin Pressure

TV:
Parade's End
To the Ends of the Earth
The Last Enemy
Fortysomething

TV Movies:
Hawking (his breakout performance, utterly sublime)
Stuart: a life backwards

Films:
Star Trek: Into Darkness
Wreckers
Starter For Ten
The Fifth Estate
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
The Imitation Game (being released shortly)

Audiobooks:
Casanova - this is a must listen!

That'll keep you busy for a while! Grin

Sherlock Fandom: The Fandom That Waited

and wrote a ton of porn

Apatite1 · 09/09/2014 23:19

Princess, there's no hope for you then!

abigamarone · 09/09/2014 23:22

BC doesn't do anything for me other than as Sherlock. Where I go weak-kneed.

I may have named one of my kittens Sherlock

FoxgloveFairy · 10/09/2014 00:46

Ah yes, the kiss. Think I'll just sit down for a bit.

tiredandsadmum · 10/09/2014 01:10

If you love Sherlock, I would avoid parade's end - it was really not very good (despite all the great reviews on the cover of the DVD). Personally I would just watch Sherlock again (or the Star Trek film)

moxon · 10/09/2014 01:12

This might be old news to some but there is a guardian poster who uses the username 'Benedict's Cumberbitch', which I am dead jealous of for not thinking up first. Ooh, maybe she's on MN too?

SingingSilver · 10/09/2014 01:17

Do many of you find him attractive in Starter For 10? He was a total twonk in that! I only find him sexy with the dark tousled hair. Otherwise his face looks a bit alien-like Blush

Coumarin · 10/09/2014 03:22

Bloody hell, that kiss gif again.

Bloody, bloody hell.

Coumarin · 10/09/2014 03:26

Actually, yes, it is only rational, slightly cold, curly dark locked Sherlock that does it for me. Ben C is undoubtedly lovely but I could happily chat about the weather with him and stay pale cheeked.

One word from Sherlock however and I'd turn bright red and...

sherlocksteacup · 10/09/2014 04:08

right i'm back.
F0ssil : yes i watched all three seasons on netflix. imagine my outrage when i discovered there are only three episodes a season (i know they are 1.5 hrs each but still just didn't seem long enough for me. bloody slackers)
Personal - ugh. YY i am in agony. 2 bloody years. Who invented this form of personal torture.
123 Jump just checked out that link and have a stupid grin on my face. a whole new universe has opened up to me.....
