I tackled the oven today.
That meant I was able to see the floor
Then the cupboard doors
Then the walls
Etc bloody etc
(it was a little like the knee bone is connected to)

I just don't have the energy or will to deal with it, or the money for a cleaner, but want the spangly sparkling home that my imagination supplies.

Anyone fancy coming round? I can offer virtual and real Wine
Or do you all have a life this fine Saturday pm unlike me (need to change my life clearly)

Bless you bulb you have spectacularly missed the point haven't you

The idea was that other people did the work while I tidied up the contents of a nice bottle of red Smile

Still, as everyone else has deserted me I shall give it a go and many thanks.

I organise peoples home for a living. Start in a corner and tackle one cupboard at a time. The secret for you would be to pretend you were doing it for someone else.

gamerchick · 06/09/2014 21:48

I do that ^^ put on a tabard and a pair of disposable gloves and work like I'm doing it for someone else Grin

Well pinching me might not work I'm pretty well guarded Wink

I wouldn't mind organising houses for a living.. I just do it for fun, it's very satisfying.

You could do like me: first couple of decades of adulthood i moved house every year or two, everytime i could afford a better place or the landlord bumped the rent beyond my income. Then my husband got a career and we move less often, but it is back and forth across oceans and continents.

Amazing what you are able to give up rather than pack it again, do without it for months, and then decide you must not need it as you've done without it so long.

I've found the solution.

  1. Give the children away
  2. Eat out for every meal
  3. Buy new pants every day
  4. Move in with gamerchick
