To wake DH up to save me from the mahooosive spider that has just run into the room?

It's huge. The size of the palm of my hand.

It came into the room earlier this evening but went under the sofa where DH couldn't get to it. I've had my feet up on the sofa all evening in terror.

It's just reappeared with all it's long yukky limbs but DH is now asleep on the sofa. I've tried poking him gently with my toe but he's snoring away.

If anyone else is really scared of spiders please don't take up mrsterry's dare up thread. I did and I still daren't put my light out.

Most of these spiders are in your house all year long, you only see them at this time of year because it is their mating season, and the males are on the prowl for a shag.
