AIBU to expect dp to show up

AIBU to expect DP to show up when DC is crying for a change? Because lately I swear he thinks I'm lying as 6m DC magically turns from lunatic all-day hell-wailer to serene coo-er exactly 3min before he walks through the door. Me: 'Yes I'm fucking upset because I've had no fucking let up for hours and please just take the thing so I can go pee' and then DP: 'Ah poor you, although DC doesn't look that upset? Maybe you're just a bit on edge? I mean, look, sooooo cute smiling at me and all!!' Why why why??!! Confused

Because 6 month old babies are dirty conniving little fiends. Or, at least, mine is too Grin.

Record the screaming and play it on loop to your DP while he tries to sleep Grin

I think all babies are like this. My theory is DD gets bored of me all day, every day so smiles at everyone else as they are much more interesting!

I shall refer to the recordings as 'The Conniving Tapes' and sell copies on eBay!

My dd does this whenever anyone else other than me sees her. she can be am absolute monster but the second we bump into friends or family or anyone turns up at the house she is miraculously transformed into an angel

My children are like this! (no longer babies)

There will be absolute screaming ab dabs as I'm trying to get tea on the table 'he hit me'/'she started it' etc.

Then just 5 mins later DH will waft through the door to sit down with perfectly behaved DC who are earnestly discussing their day and eating tea. While I sit rocking in a corner...
