To change the way we think about women with multiple partners?

Like not calling them slags or damaged goods

I would think of someone who had slept around as having low self esteem

Or perhaps abused

Then theres the double standards of men being studs and women being slags for the same behaviour.

Or women not being marriageable if they sleep around.....

Thoughts?

I was a right little sort before I met dh Grin I kept it very very quiet and really enjoyed all the attention! Id been in a loooong dull shitty relationship, then became single at 25 and found that men were falling over themselves to speak to me! I know this sounds horribly braggy but I did think of myself as a bit of a plain jane and when I realised I was desirable my self esteem went through the roof. Ive made huge positive life/career changes since and met gorgeous dh.
Im actually really grateful for my 'slut years' Grin

Ok OP you REALLY need to differentiate between women who enjoy sex and the victims of the Rotherham Child Abuse Case, because they were CHILDREN. They were victims of abuse and exploitation.

OK, now that's over. I'm a woman who enjoys sex. I was single for three years recently and whilst I didn't have any one night stands (not a judgement, just not my style) I had a couple of FWB situations. I was completely open with my friends about this and I've never been on the end of any judgement. I'm not sure where this exists anymore.

Whoa there op I think you are conflating two entirely separate ideas. Children and young women were repeatedly and systematically abused and raped. They were then ignored - an equal crime IMO and I very much welcome calls to make this a criminal offence. I don't see what that has to do with opinions of women's sexuality. These children weren't being sexual - they we're bring raped.

they were being raped bloody autocorrect.

Massive backpedalling OP, but not quite pulling it off.

The girls who were (and others who still are) being abused are not 'women with multiple partners'. They are abused children.

Two very different groups of people.
