Is it just me? I have never quite forgiven Angelina for what I think happened between her and Brad on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith. Yes she does a lot of good work but I still wish she had kept her paws off a married man. Still prefer Jen. Come on Justin.

I do love the celebrity gossip and such but I am always careful to remind myself that it could all be completely made up nonsense though and as such I don't have any personal feelings about the Brad/Jen/Angie triangle is all.

I do not like Angelina Jolie, don't really care about Brad or Jen.

Ange has form for breaking up couples. You might remember she used to be married to Billy Bob Thornton. When they met he was engaged to Laura Dern. According to Laura Dern, she went off to do a movie and while she was gone BBT married Ange "and I never heard from him again". Nice.

And in general these celebs that take on a cause and start telling the rest of the world what to do seriously fuck me off. I'm looking at you, Bob Geldof and Bono!

I actually have third hand gossip about Jen. According to my DH's friend's wife, who lives and works in Hollywood, Jen is very self-conscious and quite shy. Nice, though.

What is it that draws you to the celebrity gossip if you know it's all a load of old tosh spun by people being paid to make it up FixIt?

It's not even like a novel that you know is wholly made up by the author, because what celebrities are up to is only interesting if it's got a bit of plausibility isn't it?

I like Angie and Brad but I don't know them. I take everything I read with a pinch of salt because most of it won't be true. Ever since Clooney got engaged I can't take one bit of celebrity gossip seriously.

celebrity news is a guilty pleasure just like hanging out on MN. Some of the things on here and about celebrities have some truth but altered just a bit or downright lies.

Its fun but don't take it too seriously. I might feel strongly (sad, happy, angry) about a particular situation but its far remove from my life.

Brad, Angelina, and Jennifer have all moved on. We can all move on, too. However, tabloids and magazines can't because its their financial well it seems.

I think well done for doing it without fuss and pics. Although just read they paid locals on an island to leave so they could have a honeymoon, bizarre.

The one celebrity gossip I can't take seriously is Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence. Now, he's writing songs about her, too.

I've always preferred Jen too. I hope she gets married soon, she's had a few near misses. I always liked her with Vince Vaughn but I guess he was her 'rebound'. Anyway, Brad got ugly since he got with Angelina.

I'm not sure why it's still so heavily discussed almost ten years on though. It's like Peter 'I really love my kids' Andre and KP, they split like five years ago and according to magazine headlines they're still fighting every week.

Brad looks haunted since his younger days. Mind you he very quickly had six children and responsibility. Agree op I refuse to watch anything with him or her in. (Still love river runs through it but this was pre split up so all movies before are ok)

I think Jen comes across a bit high maintenance, although I am a fan of hers.

One of the bodyguards at her wedding to Brad did sell a story that Jen was incredibly boring! Ouch ....

Do admire Ange for her charity stuff though and raising awareness.

It's always said on MN that it's the man tht made the commitment not the other woman but did ange not know about brad and Jen? Of course she did. The same third hand gossip told me that jens lack of kids was not through lack of trying but she had a heartbreaking time.

I would love to see Jen married with a child.

For the record, I can't see Brad and Ang still together once the children are all 18.

Jen and Brad were separated? Guess Jen never got THAT memo as she did that interview saying that Angelina saying she couldn't get to work to see Brad was "uncool" and "inappropriate".

Brad was a pig, Ange a home wrecker but it's nice that it's all worked out in the end and everyone seems happy now.

Honestly, I never thought Brad & Jen were well suited. She doesn't DO anything, other than potter about at home and do yoga by the beach. Her friends are always banging on in her interviews about how calm she is and how she tends her rose garden and drinks wine. Nowt wrong with that (a pretty sweet life, lets face it) but it was clearly a life that bored Brad senseless. He has hinted he got quite depressed, thought about giving up acting altogether, didn't know what to do with himself etc etc.

And he was older and very broody, and she clearly wasn't.

And running up to the seperation during that Autumn there were rumours they were bickering continuously - I very much doubt it was quite the bolt from the blue Jennifer was so keen to portray. They just wanted different things. Even later she described their whole period together as "complicated".

I honestly think they would have split up regardless.

I do think its nuts she's still being hassled about kids though - she's 45, it aint gonna happen.
