Had to come through the living room today with our pram, it was wet and left a muddy trail. I cleaned up but just saw Ds with something in his mouth, I prized his mouth open and he was eating a little bit of soil abd it looked like there was abit of a grey worm in it. He was on the floor for two seconds, I have no idea where it came from? Possibly dds shoes as I cleaned up after the pram. Please help I'm freaking out!,

He'll be fine, my DN has ate all manor of things, sand, dirt, tissue, pooey tissue. Hes a healthy 6 year old.

Honestly it's such a shock to me, dd never really mouthed or ate anything! She wouldn't even touch sand until she was 3.. ds however has to eat everything he comes into contact with!,

My DN even inserted tissue so far up his nose it had to be surgically removed, twice!!!

Mine ate dog poo. A quick google told me it happens quite frequently and nothing to be worried about Grin and mine sounds the same as your DS, if I take my eyes off for a second, there's something new entering the mouth

Babies are revolting creatures, aren't they?

This has reminded that DS put a whole snail in his mouth once. I have no idea where it came from. I had just put him down on a blanket and turned back to the buggy.

Luckily he decided to suck rather than the chew and so I was able to negotiate its release

Hahaha thanks ladies that's really cheered me up! Im an anxious person and needed abit if a calm down!
Ds is happily sleeping, like butter wouldn't melt... Good job he's so bloody gorgeous!

Well, at this point, the best you can do is monitor him. Keep an eye on appetite, energy, and deviation from typical behavior.

He'll probably be fine. I ate a bee covered in bug spray as a baby. I was just fine.
