Mine likes shoes, anyone's shoes. He does not destroy the shoe, he just likes to remove the insoles.

However, his particular favourites are bras.

He will remove bras from the wash basket, steal them from the bedroom chair where I have been lazy enough to dump and on one occasion, removed a visitors bra from her suitcase. He does not destroy, just sucks on them like a dummyBlush

He also loves teatowels and socks. He gets a real blissed out look when sucking a sock stolen from the washing basket. Bless him.

I know that look of bliss. Mine has a blankly! When he was a baby pup, I gave him a whiffy sweatshirt with drawstring fastening to cuddle up to. He took it everywhere, dragging it behind him, but now uses it to floss his teeth.
He lies drawing the stringy bit through his teeth with a look of such bliss on his daft mutt face.....

What is it about pens and pencils? And crayons, which produces interesting multi-coloured poo.

Birkenstocks look horrible on men so it is a good thing IMO.

We had a hound who chewed a hole in the wall. We filled the hole, she did it again in the exact same spot.

Another of our dogs chewed the seatbelt of the front passenger seat in the car. He was probably trying to kill me. He also had a thing for disembowelling feather duvets.

AdoraBell · 28/08/2014 22:40

Oh yes, seatbelts. I neglected to check that one of the DDs hadn't shut the car door and left the fecking seatbelt dangling and the bastard dogs chewed through that too.

Our trainer had a client whose dogs chewed through the tyre. Now that is impressive chewing.

thatsn0tmyname · 28/08/2014 22:52

We don't have a dog but my 10 month old DD likes to chew shoes. We keep the back garden shoes outside the backdoor in a lidded bin.

Downamongtherednecks · 28/08/2014 23:03

Spiders and Adora I thought it was just my evil brute who ate seatbelts - My car failed its MOT as a result, and had to go in for expensive repairs. So I drove DH's car in the meantime. Bloody dog did the same thing in that one, and then ate the handbrake handle too.
