to sell unwashed clothes

I'd make it clear in the ad that they need a wash and it's just lots of my dd's baby clothes. I don't have the space to dry them and can't really rely on the weather to get them dry on the line at the minute.

Nothing wrong with that. Poor ds2 wore ds1 hand me downs straight from loft once as I had a terrible bout of mastitis and just couldn't wash them and he'd grown out of everything else. I was mortified and told everyone we saw so to explain is stale whiffBlush. As soon as I was better it was all washed and sorted. No-one died thoughGrin

The clothes have been stored clean - that's fine, just a small mention in the advert will do.

IF they have been stored clean then it's fine to sell them as they are. Be clear in the advert though (i.e. don't just say that they need a wash as you did in your OP!)

I don't think it's a problem as the clothes were previously clean but possibly a bit musty.

I wash all baby clothes that I buy or that I'm given just incase the baby has a reaction to the washing powder the person has used.

I've bought clothes that said they'd been stored for a while. As stated I'd wash them myself anyway.
