USED to be for really bad stuff - bereavement and stuff.
NOW its for anything and tbh I think it is a bit twee.

Hullo all,

One of the things that we think is great about Mumsnet is that people can start a thread purely looking for support. We are a site for peer to peer support - and we'd hate to think that someone couldn't post looking for a shoulder to cry on. So bring on the hand holding we say!
